Hello everyone - This is Jeff. My first time posting! Tammie and I wanted to thank you for your overwhelming support.
A brief update on the last couple of days. Needless to say mother nature did not cooperate with our planned sequence of events, but I am happy to say that right now, while Myles's birth is still in front of us, both Mom and Baby are doing well.
Yesterday and last night was a doosey. Tammie, after no sleep, worked all day long on natural means to induce. Some success, but ultimately we couldn't get all the way there. Tammie was exhausted and modern medicine made its unfortunate but necessary appearance last night around 7pm in the form of an inducing drug. Of course with no anesthetic, that meant a very trying time last night.
Again no sleep, and we decided at around 5am this morning to do something about the pain. Disappointed, but now very comfortable and resting easy from the fact that she made the right decisions - Tammie (and secondarily I!) were able to get a bit of rest.
Good news is that Tammie's hard work last night has significantly progressed things.
Still a little uncertain about the time line and activities going forward, but I guess that is just part of being new parents!
Thanks again for all the well wishes. You are all very important to Teebs and, therefore, also to me!
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Praying for you, Tammie, and Myles as you get ready for your first moments as a family of three.
Peace to all of you and special hugs to Teebs.

Jeff - please tell Tammie that you are all in my prayers. You'll have a hell of a story to tell Myles when he grows up!

Myles! I love that name!!

So happy for the update Jeff, thanks. Glad she's hanging in there with less pain and discomfort now. In no time you'll have that little Myles (awesome name) by your side, and this will all be grist for the mill. Tell her to hang in there and she's got tons of support and well-wishers on the other side of the computer screen.
