Myles Jeffery arrived safe and sound last night at 9:34pm. He's a little peanut, 5 pounds 15oz and 19 inches. Perfectly healthy and beautiful. So Jen wins the date/time pool. (I'll be sending the placenta along to you as a prize in a few days.)
36 hours of labor, ultimately worth every second. Pictures and details to come... we've had about 5 total hours of sleep since Thursday and running on pure adrenaline at the moment.
We have been boosted and held up by every comment, e-mail and phone call. Thank you all for everything.

Congratulations!!!!!!! Dying to see some pics, but just relieved that little Myles is finally here, safe and sound. (5 lbs., 15 oz. is almost 6 pounds. He ain't such a peanut!)

Knowing how gorgeous the two of you are, I know Myles is unbearably beautiful as well. I'm so grateful for the safe delivery. Charles Dickens said, "It is not small thing when those so fresh from God love us". Whether one believes in a higher power or not, it's certain that these little ones come to us as if by magic. Myles is here and though it was not how you planned it, I know none of that matters now. We celebrate with the three of you as you embark on this wonderful journey together. Now go...and get a little sleep. Can't wait to see pictures.
