"Bring Out Your Dead!"
I'm not dead yet. At least I don't think so.
If I were dead, I would have more leisure time. Whose bright idea was it to buy a house, move and have a baby all in the same four week period? Holy Christ on a cracker, where has the time gone!
Lucky for all of you, I still don't have time to write a long and exceedingly boring post about what I've been up to in the past week. So, here are some pictures!
Lucy on the roof. I've had to rescue her at least once a day for almost a month now. You'd think she'd stop climbing up there since she can't get back down. She's cute, but not too bright.
Baby party! After my initial anxiety, it was actually really lovely. The only part that was uncomfortable was having to sit in the middle of the room and open presents in front of everyone, but at least the guests all had several drinks in them. And I got cake.
Now we just have to figure out how to keep the cats out of the baby stuff. Petey climbed in here the minute we brought it into the house.
The belly at 33 weeks:
It's starting to need its own zip code and strangely, also a little lopsided. But I still have an innie - a testament to my extremely deep bellybutton.
And last but not least, here are a few pictures of the house. The closing date got moved up to March 16. I think that's less than two weeks from now, right? Holy shit.
Shiny, shiny. I'm so freaking excited about this kitchen, I can barely stand it. It's the biggest, newest kitchen I've ever owned.
Dock and boat lift
View from the back yard. It's a five minute ride out to the Caloosahatchee River with access to the Gulf of Mexico.
So to recap: In the next six to seven weeks we need to prepare for the baby, as in buy some stuff like diapers and some other junk, close on the house, practice and prepare for natural childbirth, pack, move, unpack and oh yeah, birth the baby.
We've got plenty of time.

whew... i was starting to get worried a bit.
love the red dress. and i totally want your HOUSE... i think your kitchen is as big as my apartment. i want to roll around in it and lick its shiny goodness.
well, maybe not. but still.
good luck, woman! as we find out time and time again: things will always work out. enjoy the anticipation of upcoming newness! [btw, don't you need a new banner? ;) ]

Holy Crap. Now that is house!
I operate best under pressure, so your next few weeks sound perfect to me.
Best of luck on all of it. (Especially the birthing part!)

okay, first of all, you look amazing - second of all, i did the exact same thing as you - moving, new house, baby, all of it - CA-RAZY but once the baby is here and you are all settled in and so happy that you don't have to move WITH a newborn in tow, it will all feel worth it - and can I tell you how much I LOVE that blue room!?

You look great! And once you get into nesting mode, that house will fall into place easily.
Just think, better to start on it now than after, when you'll be sleep-deprived and far less interested in packing, unpacking and decorating. Looks like the house is lovely already, you won't need to do much to it!

holy.freaking.shit.
That is the most amazing house ever and uggh, on water!? I love it, can't wait to see what you guys do with the rest of the house. Congrats on it.
Also I hate you and your non-stretch-marked belly ;-)
and whatever about the baby party, cake and presents? Umm yes please!

Now I know where I'm staying if I ever make it to Florida. Your new house is GOR-geous!
You don't look half-bad, either. ;}

I love the house and it's great, that it's near the water. I've been clicking here for few months as Your blog is very engrossing. Can't wait to see the baby boy.
Take care,
Nika

I hate to sound cliche, but you GLOW!!!
Did you buy in the Cape? I heard once that that area has more canals than all of Italy.

Here are the things that are making me drool:
1 - Your maternity dress at the party! So freaking cute. And the color looks awesome on you. Please wear that color more often!
2 - Your house, of course. But I have a particular soft spot for yellow houses. They look so cheerful and inviting. Yours is begging me to come have margaritas.
3 - Linea Negra! Awesome! I wish I still had mine.
4 - The flower arrangement in your new kitchen! Splendid!
And for the record, if you're going to give birth to your baby in the water, I'm guessing you're going to bathe with him too, right? Those little plastic bathtubs are a pain in the ass - let the cat keep it.

You look stunning, and the house is breathtaking. Isn't it amazing how everything seems to just fall together at the same time? I am so incredibly happy for you! You deserve it all ;)

It's just not fair. Not only are you the hottest pregnant chick EVER, but you guys have a house/dock that would give a builder wet dreams. Me? I'm just a little jealous. It takes a little more than that to turn me on. Can you imagine what watching the home network channel would be like? Orgasmic.
Anywho. I'm glad everything is going well, save for being a bit stressed. I love n miss you!

That's some sweet breastage you're sporting! The house looks fabulous and I, too, am totally jealous over what looks to be the perfect kitchen. Whew! You've got alot going on- good stuff, but even good stuff can be stressful! Hang in there! You have a beautiful belly and nothing looks lopsided about it to me at all. :)

You really lucked out with that house. It's gorgeous. Just imagine that in just over a year from now, that little person you're growing will be padding all over that yard.
